This is a slightly modified repost, I tried the Tech forum last night and only got 8 views and no responses so I thought I would try a more "visible" forum, and be more succinct. :-) I'm trying to trigger the "self learn" mode. My boost always spikes by about 2-3 psi (based on my eyeballing my pillar boost gauge, I tried using the line graph display but with no numbers I can't tell what the boost level is) and then settles and holds steady. 1. Do I continue changing Dty values until the SPIKE matches my Bst setting? Or do I try to get the STEADY boost value to match the Bst setting?
2. Would the F/B Setting help anything here? The user manual says "if unstable boost or boost drop occurs during boost control, the Feedback Speed Setting may be necessary". Is boost drop the same as spiking and then dropping to a steady but lower boost level?
